To prevent fraudsters from masquerading as reputable organizations and sending SMS to customers and to protect Hong Kong mobile users from fraud SMS messages, the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA), the telecommunications and bank industry have established the SMS Sender Registration Scheme (SMSRS) to assist the public in ascertaining the authenticity of SMS sender addresses, thereby combatting deception cases. From now on, you can register e-Statement online and check all e-Statements for the past 7 years, including the copy of received mail paper statement by post.
